Cumberland Farms to sell 18 convenience stores & 2 undeveloped sites

Cumberland Farms, Inc. plans to sell 18 convenience stores, some of which are operating, some of which are closed, plus two retail development sites. All of the properties are in the Northeast, according to a statement by NRC Realty & Capital Advisors, which said it was retained to handle the sale.

The company has a market-leading position throughout the Northeast as well as a significant presence in the Mid-Atlantic region and Florida.

The Pantry Selling 37 Sites in Nine Southeast Markets

CARY, N.C. -- The Pantry Inc. has placed a for-sale sign on 37 convenience stores, and has once again turned to NRC Realty & Capital Advisors LLC to assist. The move is part of the c-store operator's strategic divestitures.

"We're very pleased to be once again partnering with NRC in this portfolio sale," Jim Bosworth, The Pantry's vice president of real estate, said at the time. "These are sites that don't fit our current strategy, but they can be excellent locations for the right buyers."

NRC Realty To Sell 26 Properties In West Virginia, Pennsylvania & Ohio

NRC Realty & Capital Advisors, LLC (NRC) announced today that it will be coordinating the sale of 22 operating and closed c-stores plus four excess retail pad sites currently owned, leased, and/or operated by Prima Marketing, LLC, of Denver, Colorado. The properties are located in West Virginia and nearby areas of Pennsylvania and Ohio and include a mix of operating gas stations with c-stores, closed sites, and retail pad sites on key corners.

Buchanan Energy Selling 61 Stations

Buchanan Energy LLC is selling 38 ExxonMobil-branded gas stations in the Greater Chicago area, as well as 23 BP-branded stations in the Greater St. Louis area. All 61 stations are being sold with branded fuel supply with help from NRC Realty & Capital Advisors.

The sale will be conducted using NRC's well-known "buy one, some or all" sealed bid sale process. The bid deadline for the St. Louis-area stores is Feb. 22, 2012, while the bid deadline for the Chicago-area stores is March 8, 2012.

NRC Mart Opens ‘Doors’

CHICAGO -- NRC Realty & Capital Advisors LLC (NRC) has rolled out NRC Mart, a service for sellers of single or multiple convenience stores that capitalizes on NRC's extensive credentials in the sale of large portfolios. NRC Mart launched yesterday with an initial listing of approximately 20 c-stores with gasoline in Southern California, Arizona and Connecticut valued at $40 million, but is expected to have additional stores for sale in Chicago, Atlanta and other cities in the near future.
