7-Eleven to Sell 139 Convenience Stores

Dallas-based 7-Eleven Inc. is selling 139 convenience stores including 83 in Texas. The rest of the stores are in Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Utah and Wisconsin.

7-Eleven has been in an expansion mode in the past couple of years, but these stores are either too small for 7-Eleven's format or the lot is too small to rebuild, a spokeswoman said.

It ended up with these locations after recent major acquisitions from Tetco, C.L. Thomas and ExxonMobil. NRC Realty & Capital Advisors LLC has been hired to sell the properties.
