NRC Mart launched yesterday with an initial listing of approximately 20 c-stores with gasoline in Southern California, Arizona and Connecticut valued at $40 million, but is expected to have additional stores for sale in Chicago, Atlanta and other cities in the near future.

  Evan Gladstone
Executive Managing Director
Evan Gladstone is the founder and Executive Managing Director of Chicago-based NRC Realty & Capital Advisors, LLC. Mr. Gladstone began his real estate career in 1974 at Sheldon Good & Company, and has been a prime mover in the real estate auction and sealed bid venues since then. He began conducting residential real estate auctions in 1982 for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and HUD, then for the FSLIC and FDIC ultimately selling over 4,000 houses by the end of the 1980s.

Established in 1989 as the National Real Estate Clearinghouse, Inc., Mr. Gladstone guided NRC as one of the Resolution Trust Company's major auction and sealed bid contractors selling nearly one billion in commercial and residential real estate from 1990 to 1994. He pioneered the use of sealed bid sales for commercial real estate first for the RTC and then for major banks and corporations including Circle K, K Mart, GE Capital, and BP North America. In 2002 and 2003, he was hired to conduct two landmark bankruptcy liquidations for Swifty Serve Stores and Clark Retail. Using a ‘buy one, some or all’ sealed bid format, he was able to generate nine thousand hard-money bids for the more than 1,200 convenience stores being sold, and close the transactions in under 90 days to 420 individual buyers.

Mr. Gladstone is a licensed real estate broker in multiple states and a member of many industry related organizations including National Association of Realtors, National Auctioneers Association, National Association of Convenience Stores, International Counsel of Shopping Centers, International Franchise Association and the Turnaround Management Association.
 
  Hope Mineo
Managing Director
Hope Mineo joined NRC in 1996 after a successful career with the Michael Thomas Corporation as a Senior Level Executive. At Thomas, Ms. Mineo specialized in new business franchises and opened twenty new offices, with over 200 employees. Since joining NRC, Ms. Mineo has been fundamental in developing and determining the Company's leading-edge direction. She continues to manage NRC's operations and strategic development as NRC Realty Advisors continues to offer expanded services.

Ms. Mineo received her B.A. and Graduate Degrees in Psychology from the University of Maryland. She served as President of the international non-profit organization Save The Children. Ms. Mineo is well-known as a public speaker on the changing of corporate America in the 21st century and is applauded as one the authors of the book When the Canary Stops Singing: Women's Perspectives on Transforming Business.
 
  Dennis L. Ruben
Managing Director
Dennis L. Ruben joined NRC with over twenty-five years of legal experience with specialization in real estate and financial matters. Most recently Executive Vice President and General Counsel with GE Capital Franchise Finance Corporation, his supervision of the legal department and direction of all legal matters for this $10 billion business unit included real estate acquisition, loan origination and structuring of all major financing transactions.

Mr. Ruben has a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Iowa College of Law and a B.A. degree from University of Iowa. A member of several State Bars, multiple Bar Associations and the American Bankruptcy Institute, Mr. Ruben participated as a past speaker and panelist for the Strategic Research Institute.
 
  Anthony Bergamino

Anthony Bergamino joined NRC in 2008 and is a Senior Vice President in the Chicago office. Mr. Bergamino's prior experience includes serving as a real estate partner in a major global law firm, a Vice President of an S&P 500 real estate company (Equity Residential - NYSE: EQR) and as Senior Vice President of Acquisitions for American Invsco, the nation's leading condominium developer.

Mr. Bergamino works with lenders, developers and REO servicers to market and sell commercial and industrial real estate, single family homes, condominiums and developable land on an accelerated basis - at live auction events, by sealed bid and via online auctions. In addition to Mr. Bergamino's duties at NRC, he serves as a First Vice President of Lender Processing Services, Inc. (NYSE: LPS), a strategic partner of NRC and the nation's leading provider of integrated technology and outsourced services to the mortgage lending industry.

Mr. Bergamino also has extensive experience in acquisitions, secured financings, restructurings, workouts, big box retail leasing, construction, shopping center development and condominium conversions.

A 1988 graduate of the University of Chicago Law School, he received a B.A. summa cum laude from Stony Brook University where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and a Rhodes Scholar nominee.
 
  P. A. (Andy) Weber III
Senior Vice President
Specialties: Mergers & Acquisitions, Financial Engineering, Capital Raises, Distressed/Restructuring Advisory in all Retail Industries with specialty focus in Convenience Retail and Gasoline Distribution
P.A. (Andy) Weber began his career in the downstream segment of Shell Oil Company. During his tenure there, Mr. Weber served in various sales and marketing management capacities, responsible for Shell's investments in dealer and company-operated retail markets including New Orleans, Birmingham, and Chicago.

Subsequently, Mr. Weber was an international consultant in Arthur D. Little's Global Energy Practice. There he developed the Dynamic Brand Management practice model for ADL's marketing practice and was responsible for ADL's quarterly energy supply/demand reports for the U.S. and world markets. Mr. Weber then spent 10 years as a principal at Roundtree Capital, a private equity group with a primary responsibility of building and managing its investments in wholesale fuel and convenience retailing, manufacturing, and biotechnology. During this time he was responsible for the growth of the investment portfolio from $100 million to $600 million in annual revenues.

Most recently Mr. Weber founded Corner Capital Partners, LLC to provide investment banking and advisory services to companies with revenues up to $500 million, with a specialty focus in gasoline and convenience retail.

Mr. Weber earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas and his MBA from Rice University.
 
  Avry Davidovich
Senior Vice President
Specialties: Petroleum, Convenience Stores
Avry Davidovich brings to NRC over 28 years of executive-level operational experience in the convenience retailing/petroleum marketing industry. He began his career with Emro Marketing (a subsidiary of Marathon Oil), rising from a single store manager in 1978 to special assistant to the President in 1987. In 1989, he founded Davidovich Oil Company, which he sold to FFP Operating Partners (FFP) in 1992. He subsequently served as FFP's Executive Vice President and Board Member, overseeing the operations of the company's 400 stores. In 1997, he founded Vista Convenience Stores, serving as President and CEO. Within four years, Vista had grown to 120 stores in five states. Mr. Davidovich left Vista in 2001 for b2b Solutions, a full-service consulting firm for retailers and their suppliers, where he served as a consulting partner.

Mr. Davidovich earned a philosophy doctorate in Mathematics from the University of Tel Aviv and is a graduate of the University of Michigan's Executive Education program in Advanced Corporate Conceptual Management.
 
  David T. Garvey
Senior Vice President
Specialties: Acquisitions, dispositions, deal structuring and sourcing capital.
Dave Garvey joined NRC in 2010 and is based in the Northeast. He brings a mix of business development, advisory and investment experience to the firm. In 2008, Mr. Garvey formed Trowbridge Capital to target distressed and opportunistic real estate investments. He sourced deals and involved capital partners to invest in short term value-add opportunities and select arbitrage property trades. He also advised clients with funding requirements, disposition needs and workouts on halted new construction and lender default, including projects with lenders and joint venture partners working through bankruptcy. Mr. Garvey began his career in real estate with GE Capital Real Estate, the largest global real estate investor owning 165 million square feet, where he sourced development and acquisition projects requiring equity and debt. He structured and deployed capital from GE's funds to back developers, investors and owner-user clients on all commercial product types.

Prior to real estate, Mr. Garvey worked in private equity with a small Boston-based seed-stage investment and syndication partner firm named Capitalyst. His experience in venture investing allowed him to also focus on the nascent venture debt market where he helped pre-revenue emerging growth companies to borrow funds by leveraging their equity and hard assets. Throughout his career Mr. Garvey has built expertise in the areas of business development, deal structuring and financing growth. He has closed over $400 million in transactions and served on deal teams responsible for $3 billion.

Mr. Garvey holds a B.A. and M.B.A., both from Babson College.
 
  Mark Hillis
Senior Vice President
Specialties: Commercial real estate dispositions, portfolio analysis and dispositions, complex structured sale assignments, asset management/disposition consulting.
Based in Atlanta, Mr. Hillis joined NRC in 2010 as a Senior Vice President and brings 24 years of extensive and varied commercial real estate experience to the firm. Prior to joining NRC, he was Senior Managing Director with Cushman & Wakefield where he co-managed the Investment Sales Division in the US overseeing 130 brokers in 26 offices. His duties included covering and developing major institutional accounts, executing national portfolio sales and providing asset management and disposition advice to clients. In addition, he was responsible for Retail and Industrial Investment Sales activities nationally.

Mr. Hillis also previously held the position of Executive Director with Morgan Stanley, in charge of dispositions in the US. In addition, he was in charge of multifamily acquisitions in the mid-Atlantic where he co-led the $1.5 billion public-to-private acquisition of Town and County Trust, a multifamily REIT based in Baltimore. Other duties included various asset management assignments and portfolio management of two closed in funds: ML/EQ, a Merrill Lynch/Equitable sponsored fund with real estate debt and equity investments and Equitable Pacific Partners, a $250 million fund with US real estate investments and Japanese investors.

Mr. Hillis holds an Economics degree from Emory University. He is a member of Urban Land Institute and NAIOP.
 
  Joseph Ori
Senior Vice President
Specialties: Commercial real estate business development including distressed and performing asset sales, restructurings & work outs, debt and equity capital raising, capital markets, capital solutions for real estate organizations and advisory services
Joseph Ori joined NRC in 2010 as Senior Vice President of commercial real estate business development in the California office. Mr. Ori has extensive experience in the commercial real estate industry and has completed more than $2 billion in transactions.

Prior to joining NRC, Mr. Ori was Chief Investment Officer of Rhodes Companies, LLC, a Las Vegas, NV based homebuilder and land developer, Chief Financial Officer of Lynch Investments, LLC, a San Francisco, CA based real estate investment firm and various other senior level positions in real estate finance, investment banking, acquisitions and advisory services. He has also authored more than thirty articles on the commercial real estate industry.

Mr. Ori received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Southern Illinois University, a Masters of Business Administration Degree in Finance from DePaul University and completed an Executive Program in Financial Management at Harvard Business School. Mr. Ori is a Certified Public Accountant, a Chartered Financial Analyst, a Licensed Real Estate Broker in CA and is a member of the CFA Institute, the Urban Land Institute and the DePaul University Alumni Association. Mr. Ori is also an adjunct faculty in business and finance at the University of Phoenix.
 
  Sheree L. Andersen
Vice President
Specialties: Sale Leaseback/Debt Financing & Real Estate Expertise in the Franchise Restaurant Industry
Sheree L. Andersen is a finance and commercial real estate professional with over twenty years of experience in the franchise restaurant industry. Prior to joining NRC, Ms. Andersen served as Vice President of Lending and Portfolio at GE Capital Solutions, Franchise Finance. Based upon her expertise, GE hired her to develop and launch a new sale-leaseback financing product which resulted in $700 million in new business volume for the division within the first 18 months. Thereafter, she acquired restaurant properties for GE's portfolio through institutional investors, brokerage firms and developers, and evaluated $2.5 billion in franchised restaurant real estate assets.

Prior to joining GE, Ms. Andersen was Vice President of AT&T Capital, CIT and AEI Fund Management, and spent her career originating, evaluating, negotiating, underwriting and closing debt and sale-leaseback finance and development transactions with CEOs and CFOs of restaurant franchisors and franchisees nationwide.

Through the years, Ms. Andersen has built solid relationships with franchisors, franchisees, institutional lenders, REITs, private real estate investment groups, equity sponsors, advisors, developers, contractors, brokers, appraisers and law firms nationwide.
 
  Andrew L. Ullman
Vice President
Andrew L. Ullman joined NRC in 2009 as a Vice President and leads the company's business development team in New York City. He brings a mix of international business development and Wall Street experience to the firm.

A graduate of the University of Michigan Honors Program, Mr. Ullman started his career in Shanghai, China in a business development role for Parlex Corporation, a global electronics manufacturing firm. He then went to work as an in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York. While at Goldman, Mr. Ullman played significant roles in the origination, execution, and advisory phases of over $18 billion of transactions among various sector groups, including REITs. Mr. Ullman has most recently held positions in Private Equity and M&A advisory.

Mr. Ullman is a member of the Urban Land Institute and is actively involved in ULI's Young Leadership Group in New York City. His focus at NRC is on commercial real estate transactions including multi-family residential and fractured condo projects; all with a specific emphasis on the accelerated sale of distressed assets.
 
  Blair M. Reed
Vice President of Administration
Blair M. Reed joined NRC Realty & Capital Advisors in 2005 as the Vice President of Administration. He is a highly experienced Personnel Practitioner with a comprehensive and strategic understanding of HRM, business and organizational change.

Mr. Reed earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science with a concentration in Business Law from North Carolina State University. His 15 years of experience working for both a Fortune 500 company and a family-run enterprise has added to NRC's unique business culture.
 
  Samantha Steiner
Vice President/Project Manager
Samantha Steiner joined NRC Realty & Capital Advisors in 2005 after five years of private real estate practice. Ms. Steiner currently holds the position of Vice President/Project Manager and focuses primarily on the structured sale of commercial real estate portfolios using NRC’s sealed bid process. She has worked on more than 25 different sales during her tenure at NRC, including portfolio sales for BP, GE Franchise Finance and Circle K, among others.

Ms. Steiner has a Juris Doctor degree from the Chicago-Kent College of Law (2001) and a B.S. degree with a concentration in Marketing from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign College of Business (1992).
 
  Tracey Bleeden
Vice President of Marketing
Tracey Bleeden, Vice President of Marketing, joined NRC Realty & Capital Advisors in 1999 and oversees all marketing efforts for NRC and its clients. Over the past 10 years, she has been responsible for developing marketing programs for Sunoco, Inc., BP, Fifth Third Bank and GE Capital Solutions, Franchise Finance amongst many others. She is also responsible for NRC’s corporate advertising programs, industry conferences and business development marketing collateral.

Prior to joining NRC, Ms. Bleeden was a Regional Marketing Manager for Feld Entertainment, Inc. Ms. Bleeden received a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing from Boston University.
 
  Ron Bandyk
Controller
Ron Bandyk joined NRC Realty & Capital Advisors as Controller in 2008. Ron brings with him over 20 years of diversified experience in accounting, treasury, financial consulting and project management. In addition to extensive work in the real estate industry, Mr. Bandyk has led financial teams at organizations involved in international manufacturing, technology and financial consulting.

Mr. Bandyk spent the six years prior to joining NRC in financial consulting management roles where he managed various project teams and led projects involving regulatory reporting for a $13 billion manufacturer with significant financial services operations, and managing the financial reporting aspects of four high-yield debt offerings that resulted in over $2 billion in financing.

Mr. Bandyk began his career as a manager at what is now one of the Big 4 accounting firms. While there, he managed various projects for an international hotel management company with significant real estate investments throughout the United States.

Mr. Bandyk holds a Bachelors Degree in Accountancy from DePaul University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
 
  LaTisha L. McClinic
Closing Manager
LaTisha L. McClinic (Tisha) joined NRC Realty & Capital Advisors in 2003 as a Closing Coordinator and now leads the company’s Closing Department. Some of Ms. McClinic’s responsibilities and accomplishments over the past six years include: coordination of the closing of a $43 million portfolio for Clark Oil; coordination and management of a $162 million portfolio for Sunoco, Inc. since 2004; coordination and management of an $847 million portfolio for BP since 2005. She has overseen the closing of a combined total of approximately $1.5 billion in commercial and residential properties.

Prior to joining NRC, Ms. McClinic gained invaluable work experience at Bank of America and McKinsey & Company. Ms. McClinic holds a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications from the University of Illinois and a Juris Doctor from DePaul University. She is also a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson.
 
  Ian Walker
Senior Sales Manager
Ian Walker joined NRC Realty & Capital Advisors in 2003 as a Sales Manager and currently heads the company's Sales Team in Chicago. His primary focus is managing the structured sale of commercial real estate portfolios via NRC's sealed bid process.

Over the past 6 years, Mr. Walker has been responsible for managing the divestitures of commercial real estate portfolios in excess of $1 billion for corporate clients such as GE Capital, BP North America, Sunoco and Circle K.

Mr. Walker began his real estate career in 2001 at Coldwell Banker. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Marketing from Columbia College. He is also a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson and a member of the National Association of Realtors and the Chicago Association of Realtors.
