Joseph J. Ori Joins NRC Realty & Capital Advisors as Senior Vice President in California Office

CHICAGO - Joseph J. Ori joined NRC Realty & Capital Advisors, LLC as senior vice president of commercial real estate business development in the firm's Santa Monica, California office.

NRC Realty & Capital Advisors, LLC is a Chicago-based firm specializing in the accelerated sale of real estate by auction and sealed bid sale. The firm provides a full array of real estate and financial advisory services, including: Portfolio Analysis and Optimization; Refinancing, Recapitalization and Sale-Leaseback Financing Options; Workouts and Restructures, Divestiture Strategies; and Merger and Corporate Acquisition Opportunities (sell side and buy side).

Ori brings extensive experience to his new position, having completed more than $2 billion in transactions including real estate financings, acquisitions, investments, loan securitizations, equity financings, investment brokerage and sales, leasing transactions and advisory services.

Prior to joining NRC, Ori was chief investment officer of Rhodes Companies, LLC, a Las Vegas-based homebuilder and land developer. Ori also served as chief financial officer of Lynch Investments, LLC, a San Francisco-based real estate investment fund, managing partner of a real estate fund for Rochdale Investment Management LLC, and various other senior level positions in real estate finance, investment banking, acquisitions and advisory services. He has also authored more than 30 articles on commercial real estate matters.

Ori is a Certified Public Accountant, a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Licensed Real Estate Broker in California. He is a member of the CFA Institute, the Urban Land Institute and the DePaul University Alumni Association.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Southern Illinois University, a Masters of Business Administration degree in finance from DePaul University, and completed an Executive Program in Financial Management at Harvard Business School.
