Circle K Selling 87 Store

Source: Convenience Store Decisions

Circle K Stores Inc., a subsidiary of Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc., is putting 87 of its locations up for sale with help from NRC Realty & Capital Advisors LLC.

The final list of properties to be divested includes 74 petroleum sites and 13 commercial sites. Sixty of those properties are operating locations, while 22 are closed stores and five are vacant sites.

"These are all properties which will make excellent locations for the right buyers," said Denny Ruben, managing director of NRC. "Given the high level of interest in similar locations in these states, and our success in selling such locations, these sites should generate a great deal of interest among potential purchasers."

The properties are located in various markets:

* One in Illinois, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas
* Two in Colorado, Missouri and South Carolina
* Three in Louisiana and North Carolina
* Four in Alabama
* Six in New Mexico
* 19 in Georgia
* 41 in Florida

The majority of the sites include the real estate, while others consist of leasehold interests.

The sites will be sold using NRC's well-known "buy one, some or all" sealed bid sale process. The bid deadline is set for Sept. 29. A complete list of properties is available online at www.nrc.com/908, or by calling the NRC Customer Service Center at 800-747-3342, extension 908.
