Live Auctions
NRC has conducted hundreds of live auctions over the past 20 years for a variety of governmental and corporate sellers, developers, high net worth individuals and other institutions. Properties with large inherent demand make the best auction candidates such as residential housing, smaller scattered commercial properties and high profile properties with many potential buyers. On the other extreme, properties with seemingly no market can be effectively sold by open outcry especially if they are offered Sold Absolute regardless of price to draw out the most number of buyers.
Auctions are held in hotel ballroom settings and conducted by seasoned real estate auctioneers, and properties can be assembled from a 50-75 mile radius. Properties located farther away can be bid online where buyers view the auction in real time and place bids from their homes or offices. NRC has sold as many as 200 properties per day by live auction, and had as many as 2000 bidders and guests attend.
