YRC Worldwide to auction vacant site in West Chicago

By Elizabeth StoeverWest Chicago, IL ? A two-acre property in West Chicago is one of 61 sites that will be auctioned in the Southeast and Midwest by YRC Worldwide, a leading company that provides transportation and global logistics services.
The sites have been closed for the past several years, according to a press release.
The property includes office space and a dock area. It's zoned as a manufacturing district.
"We expect interest from adjacent property owners, industrial developers and opportunistic investors," Evan Gladstone, executive managing director of NRC Realty and Capital Advisors, said in a statement.
